The Need To Be Right (and why it's wrong) 88.3 Life FM
At 88.3 Life FM we’re partnering with Convoy of Hope, a faith-based humanitarian organization dedicated to feeding children, empowering women, training farmers, responding to disasters, and serving communities in need around the world. Since 1994, Convoy of Hope has helped more than 350 million people through practical assistance and compassionate outreach.
Every gift, no matter the size, helps provide meals, disaster relief supplies, community support, and life-changing opportunities for families facing some of life’s greatest challenges. Convoy of Hope serves communities in more than 130 countries, bringing help and hope where it is needed most.
When disasters strike, Convoy of Hope is often among the first organizations to respond, delivering food, water, hygiene supplies, and ongoing support to help families recover and rebuild. Beyond disaster response, their long-term programs help break cycles of poverty and create sustainable futures.
Right now, more than 50 million children in the U.S. are heading home for summer vacation. But for 14.1 million of them, it means the start of a hunger crisis. Children are going home to households that can’t afford sufficient food once school lunches stop.
Last summer, Convoy of Hope fed more than 152,000 children in the U.S.
That’s 152,000 children that didn’t have to wonder where their next meal would come from. Their families didn’t have to choose between paying the bills and putting food on the table.
“This means the world to me,” said one child who was able to bring groceries home to her family.
We invite you to join us in making a difference. Together, we can help provide hope, encouragement, and practical support to people who need it most.
